Thanks for the deep, drawn-out consideration of me for the position. Even though it was ultimately a No because, as we all already knew, I was unqualified, you made me feel very special.
Please let me know if you have any openings in the future, as I am sure no one else will be snatching me up! Until then I will continue sitting in my childhood bedroom all day drinking La Croix cranberry and wondering how it feels to be employed.
