You know
the stars have been here forever
give or take an eon
AND
the moon is really made
of limburger cheese,
so they say
AND
you know, teeny tiny men,
probably green,
live on mars, while saturn
has nine hundred-twenty two rings
AND
they say the sun will only last
another six billion years
SO, I was thinking,
given the state of the universe
isn’t it time we got a dog? ❏
